Lydia Martín (they/them) is a multi-instrumentalist and composer with over thirty years of musical experience. They received a BFA in Percussion Performance from California Institute of the Arts, and a MA in Music Composition from Mills College. Lydia specializes in various styles including Latin, Jazz, Rock, Gamelan, and Contemporary Music. Lydia has been teaching music since 2009 and is currently teaching in the Chicago area.
That said their skills are not limited to music. Lydia is also a talented artist and dancer.
